Gopichand, Puri Jagannath’s ‘Golimaar’ Launched

Dashing director Puri Jagannath and aggressive hero Gopichand’s first film ‘Golimaar’ has been launched yesterday (21 December). Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film under Sri Sai Ganesh Production banner. Priyamani will be starring opposite Gopichand as heroine.

Speaking on the movie launch, Puri Jagannath said that he is planning to complete the movie in a single schedule by March and release it as summer special on 28 April. He added that ‘Golimaar’ is a powerful encounter specialist story that will show Gopichand in a completely new style.

Also speaking on the occasion Gopichand expressed his happiness to work with a big director like Puri Jagannath. He said that the story narrated by Puri Jagannath was extra-ordinary and would surely elevate his position as hero.

The other star cast of the film includes Nazar, Roja, Pasupathi, Shavar Ali, M S Narayana, Ali, Jeeva and Aryaman. Crew details: Shyam K Naidu – Cinematography, Chinna – Art, Chakri – Music, Marthand K Venkatesh – Editing, Sreenu – Make up and Vijay – Action.

Finalizing a heroine for his film seems not to be an easy job for Puri Jagannath, for he needed to work a bit more on it. After considering few leading actresses in the South Indian Cinema, he is said to have finalized hot Priyamani for his upcoming Gopichand starrer ‘Golimaar.’

One of the reasons for selecting Priyamani is that the heroine of the film is said to be a mature character, and Puri Jagannath opined that Priyamani would do completed justice to the role.
